TCDC Side Event: National TB Prevention and Control Program toward the Goal of TB Elimination
In accordance with the UN/WHO objectives to end TB epidemic by 2030/2035, the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (TCDC) is convening this side event to foster the exchange of insights among countries regarding TB control and prevention at the national level. The participating countries, spanning different levels of TB burdens, include Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan. During the event, presenters will discuss the latest TB prevention and control strategies implemented in their respective countries, encompassing long-term goals for TB elimination, recent progress, the framework of national TB prevention and control program (NTP), public-private models for TB healthcare, impact of COVID-19pandemics on TB prevention and control and future strategy, and success stories from TB programs.
